Biography
I’m JC Niñonuevo, a BS Information Technology student from Bacolod City, Philippines. My work focuses on building practical digital systems through web development, UI/UX design, database management, networking fundamentals, and research-based solutions. I enjoy turning messy ideas into structured, usable systems with clean interfaces and clear functionality.
My creative background helps me approach technology with strong attention to layout, usability, and presentation. For this portfolio, the focus is on my IT work: systems, projects, research, technical documentation, and learning progress as a future IT professional.

Competencies
A structured breakdown of my technical capabilities as an IT student, spanning frontend design, backend systems, database management, network engineering, and research methodologies.
Designing responsive, highly interactive, and accessible web interfaces focused on clean layouts and standards-compliant code structure.
Developing structured server-side controllers, secure data handling pipelines, multi-role authentication mechanisms, and dynamic API integrations.
Modeling relational databases, designing schemas, establishing data relationships, and writing queries for data retrieval and indexing.
Developing cross-platform applications and mobile interface layouts using reactive UI principles and standard prototyping workflows.
Simulating dynamic network environments, configuring virtual switches/routers, separating broadcast domains, and auditing connectivity issues.
Analyzing functional requirements, documenting data flows and user workflows, and compiling standard IT research and metrics documentation.
Project Showroom
Explore my academic systems, network architectures, and conceptual designs built to turn complex processes into structured, accessible tools.
A web-based system concept designed to help micro, small, and medium enterprises monitor financial activity, organize cash flow records, and assess microloan readiness.
Key Features
A system concept that connects consumer access issues with MSME operational gaps by helping businesses manage product availability and access points.
Key Features
A PHP-based system for managing user complaints and payments, including PDF export functionality and dashboard-style records.
Key Features
A collection of Cisco Packet Tracer activities focused on VLANs, trunking, router-on-a-stick, DHCP, EtherChannel, switch security, and wireless networks.
Key Features
An AI-powered learning app concept inspired by the Feynman Technique, designed to help students prove understanding by explaining topics simply.
Key Features
A responsive, high-performance portfolio website designed to present my IT skills, projects, research, and learning journey as a BSIT student.
Key Features
This research examines how consumer behavioral intention connects with the operational capacity of MSMEs. It uses the Theory of Planned Behavior and a sequential explanatory mixed-methods design to understand both consumer-side factors and business-side challenges.
Research-to-System Bridge
My research work helps shape system ideas that address real operational gaps, such as financial tracking, inventory visibility, digital access, and consumer convenience.
Key Focus Dimensions
Utilizing attitude, subjective norms, and perceived control to predict user and enterprise digital adaptation.
Analyzing the factors driving customers to choose local MSMEs over large digital platforms.
Identifying supply chain, regulatory, and infrastructural hurdles faced by neighborhood merchants.
Measuring the confidence and capability of business owners when adopting new digital systems.
Investigating how internet availability and online storefront visibility impact small business growth.
Examining cash flow constraints, microloan access readiness, and manual accounting limitations.
Mapping product tracking anomalies, delivery inefficiencies, and catalog-consumer matching systems.
Career & Academic Path
A chronicle of my academic journey, digital production roles, and hands-on systems development experiences.
University of St. La Salle
Acquiring advanced fundamentals in software engineering, database management, research synthesis, and network architecture.
The La Salle Yearbook
Managing visual system workflows, large-scale media assets, and user layout consistency across print and digital platforms.
Student Systems & Projects
Designing, building, and documenting full-stack software prototypes, database queries, and routing configurations.
Environment & Skill Building
My primary development editors, database managers, and network simulators alongside active academic coursework and research-driven learning tracks.
Academic & Self-Taught Milestones
Configuring VLANs, inter-VLAN routing, dynamic OSPF routing, subnetting schemes, and switchport security configurations in simulator software.
Structuring responsive frontend pages using semantic HTML, vanilla CSS layouts, custom web components, Tailwind matrices, and JS.
Designing relational databases, applying 3NF normalization rules, modeling entities, and writing structured SQL queries and updates.
Studying design consistency standards, high-fidelity responsive wireframes, typography pairings, grid layouts, and user flows.
Refactoring legacy procedural PHP coursework into modular Model-View-Controller logical segments to isolate system routines.
Understanding Dart structures, cross-platform state properties, and constructing native Android UI mobile prototypes.
Utilizing large language models, Google Gemini, and Antigravity as intelligent copilots for design layout prototyping and code verification.
Drafting structured system manuals, entity schemas, user logic flowcharts, data dictionaries, and Capstone research write-ups.
